Students shall abide by the teaching plans and classroom disciplines and work hard to finish the study plans at Tsinghua University. Certain procedures have to be followed when asking for leave from the University. Students should apply to the departments they belong to or the ICLCC for leaves of sickness or personal reasons. Unauthorized absence from classes for more than two continuous weeks will make the students ineligible for obtaining certificates of study at the University and academic transcripts.
1. The visiting students and senior visiting students shall select or cancel the selection of courses on-line within the prescribed period after the beginning of each semester. The maximum academic workload in one semester is 20 credits, in which the trans-department courses shall not exceed 8 credits.
2. The instructors are responsible for the arrangement of research work of the senior visiting students or visiting scholars. By the end of their staying, an “Evaluation Form of International Visiting Students at Tsinghua University” is to be filled in by the student and the instructor together and submitted to FSAO.
3. After finishing the study, the transcripts and certificates of study for the advanced studies students will be issued by the relevant departments of the University.
