Selecting the correct program is one of the most important issues in the application process. Do remember that the "programme" to apply is the programme at Tsinghua University the applicant want to apply. For example, no matter the applicant is an undegraduate students or master students in his/her home university/college, as long as he/she wants to study in Tsinghua as a visiting student or exchange student, he/she should apply for the "General Scholar Programme", NOT the "Undergraduate Programme" or "Master's Programme".
In practice, it is really necessary to inform every applicant for the following information:
1. For exchange students from a university which has student-exchange agreement/MOU with Tsinghua University, please select "General Scholar". DO NOT select "Chinese Language Program", because that program does not deal with the affairs of student-exchange agreements/MOUs.
2. For visiting students and study-abroad students, please select "General Scholar", no matter you are undergraduate or graduate. NEVER select "Undergraduate" or "Graduate", since the two programs are all degree-seeking at Tsinghua University.
